The Story Behind Every Bite

How a love for Kashmiri food became a mission to share it with all of Pakistan.

It started with a simple observation: every time someone from Kashmir opened a box of homemade kulcha or poured a cup of noon chai at a family gathering, people stopped. They asked questions. They wanted more.

Kashmiri food has this effect. It is not loud. It does not perform. It simply tastes like something real — because it is made the old way, with mountain ingredients and hands that have done this for generations.

But that food was impossible to find in Lahore, Karachi, or Islamabad. What was sold in stores was an imitation — packaged, processed, stripped of everything that made it Kashmiri.

We Decided to Change That

Taste Kashmiri was founded to do one thing: bring authentic Kashmiri products — sourced directly from Kashmiri artisans and growers — to every household in Pakistan.

We source our kulcha from tandoor masters in Muzaffarabad. Our rajma comes from the terraced fields of Neelum Valley. Our rote is made in small batches with pure desi ghee, exactly as it was for Eid and wedding celebrations for centuries.
